Acadian Peppered Shrimp

Ingredients:

3 sticks butter
1/4 cup ground pepper
3 tablespoons lemon juice
3 cloves garlic — minced
2 bay leaves
1 teaspoon rosemary
1/2 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3 pounds shrimp — large

Directions:

Melt butter/add all ingredients except shrimp. Cook 20 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until shrimp are just pink. Serve in a bowl to hold all the nice hot juices. Goes great with saffron rice. NOTE: Steve says it’s great!
