Chili Con Carne

Ingredients:

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1 onion — minced
or 2 tbsp onion flakes
1/2 green pepper — chopped
of 2 tbsp green peper flakes
1 clove garlic — minced
2 cans tomatoes
2 cans kidney beans — with liquid
1 tablespoon salt
3 tablespoons chili powder

Directions:

Brown beef in pressure cooker. Add onions, garlic, green pepper and chili powder, brown lightly (no more browning needed if using dried ingredients). Add tomatoes, kidney beans and salt with enough water to cover ingredients. Close cover securely. Place indicator on vent pipe and cook 15 minutes after stem has reached COOK position. Let stem return to DOWN position.

(NOTE: If not using pressure cooker, let simmer for at least 45 minutes.)
