Recipe By: Pillsbury’s Jewel-Box Butter Cookies

Ingredients:
2 cups flour — sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 package Jello
Directions:
Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream butter, gradually add sugar, craming well. Blend in sour cream, then the dry ingredients. Blend well. Chill 1-2 hours for easier handling. Roll out on floured surface, half at a time to a 14 x 7 inch rectangle. Sprinkle each with 1/2 package of Jello. Roll up, starting with 14-inch side. Chill 1 to 2 hours. Cut into 1/8 inch slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 325 for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 8 dozen.
