Ingredients:
4 large pork chops
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons rosemary — finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
1 small bay leaf
1 cup tomato juice
1 can green beans, canned
1/2 cup mushrooms — sliced
salt and pepper
Directions:
Trim fat from pork chops. Brown on both sides in olive oil. Sprinkle chops evenly with rosemary and garlic salt. Add water, wine vinegar, sugar and bay leaf. Bring to simmer, cover, cook 10 minutes. Add tomato juice, salt and pepper to taste. Cover tightly, simmer 30-40 minutes or until chops are tender, basting occasionally with sauce. Remove bay leaf. If desired, push chops to one side, and thicken gravy. Drain green beans; add beans to sauce. Add mushrooms if desired. Cover; cook until beans heat.
