Ingredients:
1 cup White vinegar
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Fresh-ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Cayenne or Hot red pepper flakes
Directions:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Refrigerate the sauce if you are not planning to use it within the next hour.
It can be served cold or reheated. Makes about 2 cups.
