Ingredients:

29 ounces Italian plum tomatoes
1 cup onion — finely chopped
4 ounces green chili peppers
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon seasoned pepper

Directions:

Drain liquid from tomatoes and save for a soup or stew. Chop tomatoes and add to a bowl with onion. Wash and seed green chilies; chop very finely. Stir into tomato mixture with oil, vinegar, salt, oregano and pepper; cover bowl. Chill several hours or overnight.
